About the team
The Darwin Airbus team play a vital role in maintaining the Australian Defence Force's Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) operations by providing efficient logistical support to the program. The team work closely with ADF personnel to sustain operational readiness of the aircraft and its broad capability.
About the role
Airbus has an opportunity for a permanent full time Storeperson to join our team in Darwin, NT. The position is embedded within the 1AVN Regiment Repair Parts Section, (RPS).
As a member of 1AVN RPS team, you will be responsible for daily support to ARH spare parts transfers and management. This position reports to and is tasked by the WOFF Controller, (WOCON), for 1AVN Regt.
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement that you:
* Relevant experience and/or qualifications in logistics and warehousing operations
* Defence aviation exposure is highly regarded
* 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse and storage environment is preferred
* Accreditation/Industry certification from recognized industry body in Warehousing Operations or equivalent experience
* Must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible for Australian Government Security Clearance
