About the Commission
The Independent Commission Against Corruption (the Commission) is an independent statutory body established to promote integrity within South Australian public administration. The Commission investigates reports of corruption within public administration and actively prevents corruption by undertaking evaluations of the practices, policies and procedures of public agencies. The Commission also delivers education programs which seek to guide the conduct of public officers in the South Australian public sector.

The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, the Manager Operational Compliance leads a small team responsible for providing advice to ensure the Commission’s investigative and other operational activity is undertaken in compliance with all relevant legislation. Receiving, registering, and responding to matters and enquiries and administering referrals of corruption to law enforcement agencies is a key deliverable of the team. Success in the role is underpinned by the ability to work in partnership with key stakeholders to maintain best practice operational compliance and, importantly, a high standard of integrity.

Requirements
The successful candidate would possess demonstrated experience in law enforcement, governance or legislative compliance. You would have an experience and expertise in providing advice and recommendations to ensure organisational compliance with complex statutory and other requirements.

We are seeking for someone with an ability to lead and manage a team, motivate and engage staff and manage performance in order to deliver excellence. You will have the experience in or ability to interpret and apply legislation.The ideal candidate will display high level interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships and demonstrate influencing ability. A commitment to work autonomously, organise workload, determine priorities, and use judgement and initiative to manage competing multiple tasks.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at Negative Vetting Level 1.
