Role Details
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join our Intergovernmental Relations Unit on a full-time term basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with National, State and Territory Governments and Aboriginal Leadership to achieve cohesive policy and service delivery.
- Preparing for national meetings, including the development and coordination of materials and best-practice advice to inform strategic discussions.
- Providing strategic project management and policy advice to support the delivery of statewide and national policy reforms.
- Effectively researching, planning and developing policies and projects that are delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be committed to gathering information whilst checking for errors and analysing content to develop solutions to solve complex issues.
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills accompanied by a high level of attention to detail.
- Be able to take prompt action to solve problems, act decisively on your own judgment and look to consider a range of options to achieve objectives.
- Have the ability to build positive relationships and networks, facilitate liaising, negotiate and consult with a broad range of stakeholders.
