The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Analyzing & delivering structural upgrades and repair solutions for brownfield mining and industrial assets, including conveyors, towers, wash plants, crushers, tunnels, and shiploaders
- Conducting site Inspections where you be involved in liaising with key stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes
- Managing a team of Structural Engineers and Drafters to achieve agreed outcomes
- Producing comprehensive engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports to ensure structural integrity
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
- Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid role, combining both on-site and office-based work
- This role is only suitable for candidate in Australia. Candidates must have full working rights and be open and willing to relocate to Mackay
- Minimum of 10 years experience of structural engineering & design experience in Australia and some management experience
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Engineers Australia certified, if relevant), RPEQ and CPEng qualifications or working towards
- Proven experience in structural steel and concrete design, and remediation of materials handling structures in Australian mining & heavy industry sectors
- Proficient in FEA modeling and structural software, with a preference for Strand7 and Space Gass
- Strong leadership skills and open and willing to mentor juniors
- Up to $250K + super + paid overtime! (Paid for all hours worked)
