AWX Executive are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our client in their accounts team. This role is a junior, permanent full-time position, ideal for someone looking to move into accounts receivable or with some exposure to accounts processes. Flexible start and finish times between 6am-5pm with an immediate start available.The Role
- Communicate with corporate customers via phone and email to address inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly.
- Allocate bank payments accurately across a broader branch network to ensure smooth financial processing.
- Follow up on outstanding debts, liaising with clients through various channels to recover overdue accounts.
- Prepare and reconcile customer statements, resolving any account discrepancies efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach
- Basic exposure to accounts processes, with a desire to grow in the field is desirable (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, particularly related to accounts receivable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within a finance/account’s environment.
