Title:- Financial Crime Transformation Delivery Support – Director Level
Location:- Auckland
Length:- Full-time | 12-Month Initial Engagement Starting ASAP

We are looking for a highly experienced Director-level transformation advisory professional to provide expert guidance and support for the delivery of a large-scale Financial Crime (FC) transformation programme. This role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to shape delivery strategy and ensure successful execution of programme goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advisory support to help shape the delivery of the Financial Crime programme
  • Work collaboratively with delivery partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on programme objectives and priorities
  • Contribute to quarterly planning cycles, helping define and agree clear outcomes and milestones
  • Support the implementation of best-practice transformation methods tailored to financial crime prevention and compliance
  • Advise on programme governance and delivery frameworks to ensure robust execution
  • Identify and resolve delivery challenges, risks, and dependencies across the transformation journey
  • Act as a senior point of contact for delivery support, offering strategic insights and practical solutions across a dynamic programme landscape
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in financial crime transformation or related regulatory change programmes within financial services
  • Strong advisory background, ideally at director level or equivalent, with experience in partnering with Big 4 consultancies or similar environments
  • In-depth understanding of financial crime frameworks, AML/CTF obligations, and regulatory compliance across banking or financial institutions
  • Proven experience delivering complex programmes involving both technology and business transformation
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at C-suite and executive level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, finance, business, or related disciplines
  • Industry certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or other compliance-related qualifications will be advantageous
