What's the role on offer?
Based onsite at the Alliance Airlines facilities, the Trades Assistant plays a critical role in supporting aircraft and component maintenance personnel to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist maintenance personnel with the efficient and economical performance of assigned duties, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation Exposition Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company Safety and Security Policy & Procedures, ensuring all actions adhere to applicable regulations and company standards.
- Promote and uphold a high standard of quality, safety, and security compliance, as outlined in the Alliance Airlines Company Safety Manual.
- Support the safety and security reporting processes within the eSMS framework, encouraging active participation from all staff.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental regulations in accordance with state law, promoting a safe and secure work environment for all personnel.

Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have a background in the Aviation Maintenance Environment and be eager to contribute to a dynamic team. You will be a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a willingness to carry out tasks as instructed. Ideally, you will bring:
- Sound knowledge of the Aviation Maintenance Environment (desired)
- High School Graduation Certificate (desired)
- Industry work experience (desirable)
Your skills will consist of:
- Initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing work
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
