This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP’s Mining Major Projects team. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.

Mining

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate inspections & witness testing as required by project to ensure project target delivery dates.
  • Facilitate the approval process of Inspection Reports, Inspection Release certificates and Materials Movement releases and ensure timely, safe material transport.
  • Provide support coordinating desk and field expediting activities, including reporting to project engineers and EPCM site team.
  • Managing, updating and maintaining the inspection schedules.
  • Ensure accurate storage and distribution of project related documents, records, and correspondence.

About You

  • Knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining purchasing /expediting data in materials management systems.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical / problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Desirable for you to have worked within an EPCM/EPC organisation on major projects.
