As the Waste Room Forklift Operator, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the production environment by managing waste materials and ensuring proper disposal procedures.
Position Details:
- Shift: Day Shift – 4:00am to 12:00pm
- Pay Rate: $32.54 per hour
- Location: Wacol, QLD
- Employment Type: Casual with potential for permanent placement
- Operate a forklift to transport waste bins and materials safely within the facility
- Support waste management processes to maintain a clean and compliant environment
- Always adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols
- Perform routine forklift checks and minor maintenance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Valid LF Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness
- Good physical fitness – capable of manual handling and lifting up to 25kg
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Stable, early-morning hours that support work-life balance
