About the role:
We are seeking a Utility Surveyor to undertake field tasks related to subsurface utility investigation projects, supporting project teams to ensure project outcomes are met.
We are seeking someone with:

Previous experience undertaking utility surveys using GPR systems, EMF detectors and survey equipment

Advanced knowledge of Trimble and Leica survey equipment

Knowledge of recording utility networks and assets

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD deliverables

Proficiency in remote access to digital devices and technology

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key requirements:
-
Diploma or degree in Surveying or related geospatial discipline (desirable)

Ability to move safely over uneven terrain

Ability to distinguish Uniform Colour Codes used for utility line marking

Regularly undertake heavy manual handling including lifting, pushing and pulling of survey equipment, traffic control barriers, gatic lids, and survey tools

Level 3 medical assessment for access to road and rail corridors

Work in noisy, dusty, low-light environments around moving mobile plant
