Description:
We are currently seeking applications for a Services Coordinator to join the team at our Invicta Mill in the Burdekin Region.
Reporting to the Assistant Production Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Day Services Team in particular, coordinating a range of daily processes required to safely, environmentally and effectively manage cleaning, fuel handling services, ash and mud disposal at site through direct guidance and coaching of work teams and contractors.

This position allows you to be located at the doorstep of adventure. Coupled with a work/life friendly roster so you can spend time enjoying all the region has to offer.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:
- Provide assistance to operational /maintenance personnel to help identify and implement solutions where they are justifiable to address operational deficiencies or improvements.
- Where required, co-ordinate resources required for maintenance work including breakdown/shutdowns.
- Lead, guide and support the Day Services Team of to ensure their responsibilities are carried out in accordance with their position description.
- Co-ordinate mobile plant resources and manning (including contractors) on site.
- Manage and document the performance of direct reports (including time, attendance, absenteeism, coaching/mentoring, training initiatives, and performance reviews or counselling)
- Ensure regular information sharing is delivered e.g. Toolbox, Safe Starts
The successful and ideal applicant will have;
- Hold a trade qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience as a supervisor
- Be a self-starter who can work unsupervised and achieve results within required time frames
- Possess the ability to effectively influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels
- Able to effectively and constructively contribute to team results, and be an active member of the Regional team
- Appropriate certifications such as working at heights, confined space etc
- Sugar milling industry experience is advantageous, but is not essential

- Roster is 9hr days in the maintenance season with a rostered day off most Fridays' and paid overtime.
