THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $122,728 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Course Coordinator to join the Bachelor of Nursing Leadership Team at Holmesglen. Working closely with the Head of School, Course Coordinator, and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the strategic and operational management of the program. Your focus will be on supporting students to ensure a high-quality educational experience, promoting their success, well-being, and progression. In this pivotal role, you will foster collaboration and innovation across the program. The successful candidate may also deliver lectures, tutorials, or practical sessions, depending on program needs and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students by providing course advice and progress guidance in collaboration with the Course Coordinator.
Liaise with academic and clinical teams to coordinate course materials, placements, and simulation activities that enhance student learning.
Collaborate with Clinical Educators to address student needs and resolve clinical placement issues.
Contribute to curriculum development and implementation to align with current nursing practices and healthcare trends.
Deliver lectures, facilitate teaching and clinical sessions, and apply evidence-based teaching strategies to support student success.

ABOUT YOU
Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a completed Master's Degree in Nursing (or related specialty), with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing as a foundation.
Extensive clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Australia, with significant experience in undergraduate teaching and program administration.
Strong understanding of contemporary tertiary education methodologies, nursing and healthcare sector issues, and regulatory compliance requirements (TEQSA, ANMAC, AHPRA, NMBA).
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, online learning creation, and the delivery of Higher Education programs, including credit transfer and articulation pathways.
Skilled in building collaborative relationships with students, academic teams, industry stakeholders, professional associations, and educational institutions to support program excellence.
Commitment to fostering student well-being, progression, and success through innovative teaching approaches and a supportive learning environment.
