Description:
We are seeking a motivated person with suitable qualifications and experience to join our team to ensure the provision of quality surveillance services for Council’s Sewer and Stormwater assets.
- Commencing salary at $2,391.68 gpf with the opportunity to progress to $2,870.02 gpf + superannuation.

Your new role :
- Assist in undertaking surveillance and condition assessment inspections of civil infrastructure, and capture, upload, analyse and report on data collected relating to defects, risks, failures and general maintenance needs for Sewer and Stormwater infrastructure.
- Respond and investigate customer service requests and process the request in accordance with Corporate and Technical and Strategy section protocols.
- Ensure the timely management and transfer of asset assessment data to the Asset Management System.
- Assist in the development of, and implement and maintain, condition assessment policies and procedures for specific asset groups.
What you will need to succeed :
- Qualifications relevant to the role (e.g. Certificate III Information Technology or Spatial/Environment Science), or willingness to undertake such study.
- Current Class MR Driver’s Licence.
- Current Construction Induction Certificate (White).
- Demonstrated experience relevant to the role including practical experience in civil construction/surveying, geographic information systems and global positioning systems.
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation applicants are required to be vaccinated and provide evidence for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.
