Apply today and get the benefits of working in a thriving environment, a great work culture, and competitive pay.Job description:-Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum objectives.-Tailor lessons to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students have the opportunity to excel.-Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a sense of belonging.-Effectively manage classroom behaviour and promote respectful interactions among students.-Continuously assess and track student progress through various evaluation methods.-Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents, facilitating their understanding of individual strengths and areas for improvement.-Implement innovative and interactive teaching methods that engage students’ curiosity and critical thinking.-Use technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences.-Collaborate with fellow teachers, educational support staff, and parents to create a collaborative educational ecosystem.-Encourage student involvement and oversee extracurricular projects as needed.-Prioritise the safety and well-being of students at all times.-Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance assessments.-Generate progress reports and report cards in accordance with school policies.-Foster open and effective communication with parents and guardians. Address inquiries, and concerns, and provide regular updates on students’ academic progress and classroom activities.-Adhere to the school’s code of ethics and professional standards, serving as a positive role model for students.Qualifications/Attributes:-Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching or similar-Must be registered with the Teacher Registration Board of WA-Must possess at least a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification work experience.-Must be experienced in teaching students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.-Must possess strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment.Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
