The Role
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fashion Designer / Product Developer to join our creative team full-time at our Abbotsford studio. This role is essential to the end-to-end development of each collection, working closely with our suppliers, production, marketing, and sales teams to deliver standout products each season.
Designers at our label are able to produce garments that are loved by customers and stores globally, offering a true experience in international fashion trade.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Product DevelopmentCreate and update tech packs, spec sheets, CAD sketches, and development documentationMaintain range boards and manage seasonal production schedulesLiaise with suppliers on construction, materials, fit, and gradingAttend fittings, record detailed notes, and implement feedback into development
Production & Quality AssuranceManage sample shipments, track measurements, and oversee approvalsConduct QA checks on development samples, TOB, and bulk productionProvide detailed product data and descriptions to marketing and sales teamsEnsure product integrity and consistency throughout the development process
Studio Operations & CollaborationWork closely with Logistics, Sales, and Marketing teams on a daily basisMaintain the design archive, fabric library, and sample storagePrepare design presentations and internal overviews for seasonal collections
What You’ll BringMinimum 2 years’ experience in a fashion design or product development roleTertiary qualification in Fashion Design or equivalentProfessional expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesignStrong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skillsExcellent knowledge of garment construction and gradingHigh attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple timelinesA proactive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
