From Australia to the World: Typo's Next Chapter Needs You! ✈️
Typo is on a mission to become the global leader in stationery, travel, and gifting.
We design products that bring personality to your everyday, turning the expected into the unexpected, the ordinary into the extraordinary. Whether you're planning or creating, bold or understated, we give you the tools to create, play, and make your mark.
WELCOME TO THE ERA OF REINVENTION
Typo is in the midst of a bold rebrand - reclaiming its place as a cultural disruptor for all. Once known for its cheeky tone and creative personality, Typo built a loyal following by offering stationery, lifestyle, and gifting products that stood out by design. You will be part of our exciting journey as we upgrade all touchpoints of the Typo brand and help to widen the reach of our brand across the world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Production Specialist who lives and breathes production, thrives on fast-paced challenges, and knows how to make things happen. In this role, you’ll take the reins on a key category – managing production from concept to delivery, and making sure our products hit the mark on quality, fit, price, and timing.
This is your chance to shape what’s next at Typo by turning fresh ideas into fun, ethical, elevated product that customers love – all while helping us stay fast, flexible, and future-focused.
What you'll be doing:
• Own Production: Manage every step from order to delivery, ensuring our much loved Typo products are quality, on point, and on time.
• Deliver Speed & Agility: Execute production strategies that keep us ahead of the curve and close to what our customers want, when they want it.
• Build Strong Supplier Partnerships: Collaborate closely with global suppliers to elevate quality, solve problems fast, and drive long-term value for both sides
• Source Smart: Help source innovative materials and techniques while supporting our global supplier network to scale sustainably.
• Drive Results: Collaborate with the wider group Production team to hit all the right notes on cost, quality, and timing
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• A degree in Fashion, Textiles, or a related field.
• Experience as a Production Specialist or Manager (bonus if it’s in hardgoods/accessories).
• Hands-on knowledge of offshore supply chains and cost-effective production strategies.
• Strong background in FOB, open costing, capacity planning, and order placement.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to keep things moving smoothly.
• A collaborative spirit and passion for creating products that are as fun as they are thoughtful.
