SA Health is seeking exceptional candidates for the role of Part-time, Ongoing and Temporary Administrative Officers at the Kapunda, Angaston, Tanunda, and Eudunda Hospitals within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As an Administrative Officer you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, working alongside dedicated professionals committed to delivering high-quality care to the local community and you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of these hospitals.
The Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of a high quality, confidential; customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors for the Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN. This will include the provision of a reception service, theatre administrative functions, admission and discharge of patients, preparing and running patient/client information reports, word processing/data entry, medical record administrative services and providing clerical/administrative support at relevant sites. Sites with Emergency Departments will also have weekend shifts available.
Positions available can be at more than one site and may be flexible across weekday, weekend work or a combined option.
To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional communication and organisational skills, proficiency in computer applications, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting would be an advantage, but we are also eager to nurture fresh talent and provide comprehensive training.
Multiple positions are available:
- Part Time Ongoing Contract 0.85 FTE - Eudunda
- Part Time Ongoing Contract 0.6 FTE - Kapunda
- Part Time Ongoing Contract 0.87 FTE - Tanunda
- Part Time Temporary Contract 0.8 FTE (up to 30/6/2027) - Kapunda
