About the Region

About the roles
Based in Nanango/Kingaroy
Maximum Term Full Time
$66K- $69K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking an officer to provide high level administrative support to the Program Coordinator Maintenance to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Works Maintenance Branch. The role will provide administrative support to the General Manager, Works, Planning and Water and Wastewater branches whilst effectively responding to equiries from internal and external customers promptly and professionally. The successful applicant will have proven experience providing administrative assistance in an office environment with local or public works experience highly regarded. Sound organisational skills with the ability to establish work priorities, complete assigned tasks within required standards and meet deadlines.
Mandatory Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence
Desirable Qualifications
Certificate III in Business Administration

Skills and experience

Proven experience providing administrative assistance in an office environment with local or public works experience being highly regarded.
Sound organisational skills with the ability to establish work priorities, complete assigned tasks within required standards and meet deadlines.
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Sound computer skills including sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and corporate software systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
