The Opportunity
Responsibilities
As a Business Sales Manager, you will spearhead commercial sales initiatives for hardware devices within Australia. Your role involves generating and nurturing business leads, collaborating with commercial leaders, and creating new business opportunities. You will be pivotal in delivering outstanding customer experiences and distinguishing the organization from competitors. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Drive the acquisition of new customers through various programs, including subsidiary relationships and marketing collaborations.Enhance retention and upsell strategies for existing customers, both programmatically and through direct relationships.Ensure timely fulfillment and exceptional customer experiences that set the organization apart.Represent the company with executive maturity, embodying a unified approach.Manage offshore Customer Service Support (CSS) resources, focusing on pipeline performance and optimization.Maintain and track customer and transactional information using CRM systems and internal portals.Meet and exceed sales goals through effective prospecting, qualification, and closing of sales opportunities.Lead a matrix account team to develop and manage sales pipelines and enhance customer relationships.Build and manage strategic partner alliances as part of the comprehensive commercial plan.Deepen customer relationships by understanding their business challenges and market competition.Communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and extended teams and partners.
Required Skills
Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in field-based hardware sales.Experience in complex solution sales and managing large deals within a matrix organisation.Experience with state government contracts, specifically NSW Government's ICT Contracts C999 and C9826.Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proactive and self-directed, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Consistent achievement of sales targets and KPIs.Familiarity with RFT/RFP processes and managing relationships with partners and customers.Background in partner development, particularly in hardware partnerships, with experience in demand planning and scaling deals with partners.
