About the Business - Strategic CommunicationsThe Strategic Communications team supports the department to effectively communicate with its stakeholders both internal and external to government. The team is responsible for the department's intranet, extranet and website publishing and coordinates whole of government email communications, the department's media activities, and designs engaging visual content to support the communications activities. Strategic Communications also works across government to create a pipeline of content that reflects activity across the South Australian public sector and manages the SA Government social media channels and We Are.SA communications portal.

The Communications Coordinator supports best practice communications by engaging with business units to source, write and publish content for internal and external newsletters, websites and intranet pages owned by DPC. Utilising your communications knowledge and customer service experience you will help coordinate and deliver corporate events and activities, manage the shared email inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
Special Conditions- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in an internal corporate communications role is desirable.
