The Opportunity
We have an exciting, unique, and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Western Australian Post-Collections and Resource Recovery Business Unit.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for strategically hunting and securing new business opportunities across multiple sectors, including government agencies, utilities, mining, civil etc.
Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.Ensure long-term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.Provide excellent customer service and build and maintain strong customer relationships.Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets.Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.
About You
For this technically focused sales role, you will bring an outgoing personality with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Previous solutions sales experience is preferred.A background in Chemistry would be highly regarded.Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as Salesforce, is beneficial.Excellent time management via your calendar to ensure you have adequate time in-field and manage administration tasks.This is an autonomous role, so you must be a self-starter.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A tenacious, resilient attitude and results-focused approach.Works well under pressure, hunts opportunities, and drives new business.
