Description:

Position Vacant: Support Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator to join our team. The Support Coordinator is responsible for working with participants to connect them with a range of services in line with their NDIS plan goals. These connections will enhance opportunities to pursue existing goals and build the person's capacity to achieve independence to self-direct their services in the longer term. This role will evolve and grow as MAP and the NDIS adapt to recommendations from the NDIS Review.

About Us

At MAP, we believe in the power of a connected community where everyone has the opportunity to live a fulfilling and enriched life. Grounded in our core values of being Helpful, Connected, Active, Supportive, and Adaptive, we provide a diverse range of services that support people with disability to achieve their goals.

About the Role

As a Support Coordinator with MAP, you will have a solid understanding of strengths-based, person-centred planning. Be committed to providing a client-focused service in a timely, consistent, coordinated and flexible manner. You will have a strong understanding of the NDIS and experience working with people with disability.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Client-focused approach: Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered support that prioritises the needs, goals, and preferences of clients.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS funding framework: Experienced in navigating NDIS plans, budgets, and funding categories to ensure clients receive appropriate services and support.
  • Clear understanding of risk management and compliance: Skilled in identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to NDIS guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Exceptional documentation and reporting skills: Proficient in maintaining accurate records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with audit and quality standards.
  • Highly efficient time management: Able to effectively prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments without compromising service quality.

What We Offer

Career Development: Opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth.

Flexible Work Environment: Options for remote work and office-based roles.

Inclusive Workplace Culture: Be part of a supportive and empowering team.

Competitive Remuneration: Level ¾ (dependent of qualifications and experience) pay rates under the SCHADS Award, based on skills and experience.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and EH Work Rewards.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current DHS Working with Children Clearance or NDIS Clearance.

• National Criminal History Check (within the last six months).

• Valid Driver’s Licence
