Position Vacant: Support Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator to join our team. The Support Coordinator is responsible for working with participants to connect them with a range of services in line with their NDIS plan goals. These connections will enhance opportunities to pursue existing goals and build the person's capacity to achieve independence to self-direct their services in the longer term. This role will evolve and grow as MAP and the NDIS adapt to recommendations from the NDIS Review.

About the Role
As a Support Coordinator with MAP, you will have a solid understanding of strengths-based, person-centred planning. Be committed to providing a client-focused service in a timely, consistent, coordinated and flexible manner. You will have a strong understanding of the NDIS and experience working with people with disability.

- Client-focused approach: Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered support that prioritises the needs, goals, and preferences of clients.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS funding framework: Experienced in navigating NDIS plans, budgets, and funding categories to ensure clients receive appropriate services and support.
- Clear understanding of risk management and compliance: Skilled in identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to NDIS guidelines and legal requirements.
- Exceptional documentation and reporting skills: Proficient in maintaining accurate records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with audit and quality standards.
- Highly efficient time management: Able to effectively prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments without compromising service quality.

Mandatory Requirements
• Current DHS Working with Children Clearance or NDIS Clearance.
• National Criminal History Check (within the last six months).
