Our ClientOur client, a well-respected Not-for-Profit organisation, is embarking on a transformative journey to modernise their payroll systems and processes. Known for their strong community focus and collaborative culture, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to help shape the future of their payroll operations.
About the Role
Step into a 4-month contract based in Southbank, where you’ll work in a vibrant, modern office equipped with outstanding facilities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the seamless implementation of a payroll system transition from manual systems (Dynamics 365 and Humanforce) to the fully integrated ELMO HCM system (HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance). Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the ELMO Project Officer, Payroll and Accounts Team Lead, and internal teams to provide assistance throughout the project.
- Extracting, cleansing, and migrating complex employee data for a 1,000-strong workforce across multiple awards, sites, and states.
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and automating processes to create a future-ready payroll function.
- Providing support for BAU payroll when required.
- Creating user-friendly documentation and delivering training to empower the internal payroll team.
You are an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in managing large, complex, and full-function payrolls. Confident in handling multi-award payroll environments, you excel at navigating the complexities of data migration and troubleshooting. With sharp analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, you are solutions-focused and proactive in driving change. A collaborative team player, you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the success of this transformative project.
