Description:
Sedgman is in the process of recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our team in Brisbane. You'll hold a pivotal role in our global Projects team, actively supporting a diverse range of projects across various commodities and stages, including Feasibility, FEED, Project Delivery, and the exciting future of battery minerals.

Primary Duties:
- Lead programs aligned with Sedgman standards and client needs across all project phases, such as studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Analysing Critical Path activities.
- Manage Schedule Risk Analysis workshops as required.
- Leading team program review sessions.
- Integrating subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers' programs into the overall project program.
- Lead Tracking, monitoring, and managing project progress, offering corrective guidance as needed.
- Compiling and presenting prioritised lists of upcoming tasks.
- Providing timely, accurate project reports, including forecasting and S-Curves.
- Assessing and reporting on changes in project scope, whether internally or externally driven, and their potential impact on budget, timeline, and resources.
- Collaborating with the procurement team to review procurement and expediting activities.
- Assisting in the development of site tracking sheets and progress measurement tools as required.
Who are you?
- You will have 10 years of planning experience within the Engineering, Mining, Construction, or Oil & Gas industry.
- Possess a tertiary qualification or equivalent in a relatable field.
- Preferably, at least 2 year of practical on-site experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel, and Microsoft Project (other planning software will also be considered).
- Strong background in detailed reporting, including Earned Value Analysis and progress S-Curves.
