The Role


As the Receptionist you will act as the 'first impression' of the business, delivering exceptional customer service and professionalism in every interaction. Reporting to the Office Manager, your main areas of responsibility will include;



  • Welcoming guests upon arrival with a smile and can-do attitude
  • Answering, screening and distributing all incoming calls and general emails in a professional, helpful and efficient manner
  • Coordinating internal processes such as coordination of cleaners, couriers, collection and distribution of mail, management of pool cars
  • Organising catering requirements for office lunches, meetings and events
  • Ordering office stationery and kitchen supplies/groceries
  • Filing, copying, other ad-hoc reception duties as required
  • Preparing tea/coffee for guests on arrival
  • Provide assistance to the Directors, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer via the Executive team members (as required)
  • Maintaining meeting rooms including set up, pack down and setting refreshments for client meetings
  • Maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and tea point, fill and empty dishwasher as required
  • Putting away any stock that may arrive at reception in a timely manner, i.e. printing material, stationery, kitchen supplies and groceries

About You


The ideal candidate will have come from a customer facing role in a polished, corporate environment. You will;



  • Have superior customer service skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Have proven experience managing conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, be a self-starter, humble and keen to turn a hand to whatever ad-hoc tasks are required.
  • Be competent with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • A Cert IV in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
