This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career pathway into Media and Communications. We are seeking an outcome driven individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
The Media and Communications Coordinator will provide support with media activities and public relations across the wide breadth of SANFL’s competitions and programs. This includes liaising between SANFL personnel and the media, preparing and issuing media releases, coordinating media opportunities and press conferences and ‘pitching’ positive story ideas to media. They will also contribute to the development of engaging content for the SANFL website - writing news articles and match reports. Reporting to the Head of Media, Brand and Communications the role will also provide general assistance across the broader SANFL communications as required including supporting the digital marketing team with social media.

Your success in the role will be underpinned by the following:

- All SANFL team members are required to hold a current DHS Working with Children Check
- Our industry is footy, and our team occasionally work evenings across SANFL events, and some weekends throughout the year (primarily March to September).
