  • Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate Communications
  • Salary: $85,790 to $95,413 – ASO5 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 31 December 2025

Overview:

  • Coordinate and deliver social media communications for SA Health’s established social media channels.
  • Deliver assigned elements of SA Health’s Social Media Strategy, communication plans, content requirements, campaigns and materials, working collaboratively with the Corporate Communications team, subject matter experts, Local Health Networks, other agencies, and the Office of the Minister for Health and Wellbeing.
  • Implement the organisation’s social media policy and procedures and provides social media advice to people across the department.
  • Report to the Principal Communications Adviser, Communications Unit and work within the broader Corporate Communications team that delivers communications, media, and digital communications.
  • Research and apply current social media trends, both in terms of content, technology and social/cultural.
  • Work within a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment, be adaptable and able to work across multiple projects and priorities with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Deliver a high level of collaboration, responsiveness, flexibility, resilience, and customer service.

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
