DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity for a Facility Manager QLD. Join our Integrated FM team and play a key role in the management and delivery of the hard services across all the sites in each state. You will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality and communications are achieved. Reporting to the National Client Services Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- The single escalation point for sites where by Downer does not have a dedicated site representative.
- Accountable for the monthly reporting and KPI regime.
- Accountable for contract variations and scope management in alignment with expectations, contract reporting coordination and present at periodic meetings.
- Manage the daily provision of preventative and reactive maintenance works across all facilities under the contract via the delegation of work tasks to the Facilities Coordinators (if in place) or appropriately skilled trades people.
- Oversee the administration of maintenance works associated with the contract and ensure timely completion and update of all work orders into the relevant reporting systems.
- Plan, program and scope any minor works projects at any facilities within the contract, in consultation with the client and any in house support resources.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience within Operations Management or a similar role, dealing with the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Experienced trades profession or exposure working closely with trades and subcontractors.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating the performance of subcontractors and in house staff.
- Knowledge of OHS regulations.
- Familiarity and understanding of building statutory obligations, codes of practice and Building code of Australia.
