The Role
The Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) Head Office is looking for a highly experienced, enthusiastic and organised Executive Assistant to fill a current vacancy for an SES Band 1 Officer.
This role fast-paced with rigid timelines. It requires managing the office environment and prioritising workflow. To succeed in this role, you will have great people skills the ability to anticipate the needs of your senior executive and demonstrate flexibility, resilience and initiative.
Your tasks within this office will include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to the SES Band 1.
- Monitoring and triaging the inbox of the Executive and managing their calendar.
- Using internal programs to track documentation as required.
- Tracking and processing administrative correspondence and documentation.
- Quality assurance of paperwork and documentation.
- Responsibility for travel requisitions and acquittals for the office, booking travel and accommodation etc.
- Assisting with coordination and preparation of executive communications and briefs.
- High level liaison with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing and coordinating input into monthly newsletters, internal updates and dashboards.
- Preparation of talking points and sit-reps.
- Developing business improvement initiatives to streamline workflow.

You will be part of a small multi-disciplinary high performing team, led by the Chief of Staff. The role provides flexibility where required, however given the nature of the work, working from home arrangements are limited.
