In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices. You will work closely with various departments to identify procurement needs, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the organization. - Manage the procurement process for assigned products and services, from needs assessment to supplier selection
- Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals, conduct negotiations, and finalize contracts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement requirements and provide expertise on best practices
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and potential new suppliers
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies that optimize cost savings and supplier performance
- Support the training and mentoring of junior procurement staff as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, with at least 3-5 years of experience in procurement
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
