4 month contract Technical Writing Role with a Tier 1.
Job Overview
The Technical Writer is tasked with creating and evaluating technical publications according to set timelines and established documentation standards. This role involves conceiving, designing, drafting, reviewing, and standardising a variety of documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and author comprehensive technical documentation
- Participate in peer review processes to ensure high-quality publications
Skills & Qualifications
- 12 months of demonstrated experience in technical writing
- Proven ability to produce clear, well-organised documentation that boosts organisational efficiency
- Expertise in integrating high safety focus principles throughout all documentation
- Skill in aligning both internal and external stakeholder expectations and requirements within technical documents
- Willingness to consult with internal and external customers as needed to determine document needs
- Familiarity with relevant Australian and international standards
- Experience supporting engineering design processes and managing document revisions
Experience with rail / rolling stock is crucial.
Fantastic Day Rate.
