About the role
Saint Lucy's Cafe' is looking for an experienced Barista/Cafe Supervisor to join our team in St Lucia, QLD. This is a casual position where you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our cafe and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving a range of high-quality coffee and tea beverages
- Providing excellent customer service and managing customer inquiries
- Supervising and supporting the cafe team, including training and mentoring
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked cafe environment
- Assisting with cash handling and daily reporting
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a barista in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and provide leadership and supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Food safety and responsible service of alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain)
