Position Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant – Infection Control
Classification: ZF4
Salary per hour: $57.36 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Part-time 48 hours per fortnight from 31st March 2025 until 30th March 2026.
Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028
Role description
The Infection Control nurses are responsible for establishing and monitoring the organisational infection prevention and control (IPC) program. This temporary position will support all functions of the program, including the implementation and monitoring of processes to enable the role of staff who are designated as Infection Control liaison. The IPC program aims to provide a microbiologically safe environment for residents/patients, staff and visitors at Dhelkaya Health.
About you
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
* Post graduate qualifications in infection prevention and control or other relevant post graduate qualification or working towards
