Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Estimator for an exciting 3-month contract opportunity with our esteemed client. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale projects in the Commercial and Residential sectors. To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of working on projects valued at $50M or more .
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects.
- Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project documents to assess project scope and requirements.
- Conducting site visits to gather relevant data and ensure comprehensive understanding of project needs.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all estimates align with project objectives.
- Managing the tendering process and providing recommendations on cost-effective solutions.
- Monitoring project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure alignment with estimates and budgets.
- Extensive experience estimating on projects valued at $50M+ within Commercial and Residential sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Estimate one and Cubit experience
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
