About the Organisation
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organisation, providing critical reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. You will manage accounting functions, financial planning, and risk mitigation while working closely with leadership to optimise financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support decision-making.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and analysis.
- Manage cash flow tracking and financial modelling to support sustainability.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including BAS and IAS reporting.
- Support grant funding reconciliation and acquittals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting frameworks.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working independently and managing competing priorities.
- A solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Excel, and other financial management tools.
- The ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders.
