We are a local extended family seeking the services of an experienced domestic cleaner for ongoing, regular work, servicing the needs of 3 household and an investment property.
Based in the greater Sandy Bay area, we are seeking an experienced, ethical and independent person to look after the general household cleaning of 3 homes, two with young busy family’s, along with the regular cleaning of a BnB also in the local area.
We can offer either fulltime or part-time hours, based on the needs and experience of the successful candidate, along with a generous hourly rate that would more than cover the travel needs between the various properties.
Ideally, we are seeking a great communicator who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. You will have at least 2 years of domestic cleaning experience and a good referral base to support your character.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, laundry, mopping, dusting, and surface cleaning.
- Clean and maintain hygiene in common areas in private homes such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and other designated spaces.
- Regular cleaning of the BnB, including everything needed to make it ready for the next guest.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment ready for use.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
About you
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are a must!
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with others
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as cooperatively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Reliable, trustworthy, and always maintains a positive attitude
