CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and develop maintenance teams within a large-scale mining operation. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, driving innovation in maintenance strategies, and fostering collaboration between Mine Maintenance, Mine Planning, and Equipment OEMs.
The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in heavy equipment maintenance, asset management, and operational leadership to support mine development and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mine maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with long-term and short-term mine plans.
• Oversee mobile equipment performance and fixed infrastructure services to optimise operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Mine Maintenance department.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules in coordination with Mine Engineering teams to support mine expansion plans.
• Implement cost-effective maintenance tracking and inspection processes across all mine fleets.
• Manage and optimise component Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes for mine equipment fleets and fixed plant.
• Establish reusability guidelines for components and parts to improve cost efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance labour and repair contracts to ensure effective resource management.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience in mine maintenance leadership, with prior experience in a Manager-level role within the mining industry.
• Strong background in developing and managing integrated maintenance teams and contracts.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Mine Planning and Equipment OEMs to optimise plant performance.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, asset management, and LCM.
• Experience in creating and implementing maintenance schedules that align with mine expansion and operational plans.
• Strong safety leadership skills with a commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.
• Expertise in maintenance cost control, contract management, and labour planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to develop and mentor maintenance teams.
