Mechanical Fitter

Description:

We are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters for temporary contract positions in a busy Manufacturing environment in South-West Sydney.
This is to work on a project base, therefore, immediate start is required.
You will be required to perform installs of new plant machinery and welding tasks, whilst also supporting the team with the following requirements,
Key responsibilities ;
Daily duties can include but are not limited,

• Perform all mechanical maintenance tasks, including breakdowns, repairs and schedule preventative maintenance
• Maintain safety protocols and policies
• Reporting of maintenance through daily logs and working closely with the maintenance manager to communicate requirements
• Supporting team with any daily on the job technical support

Your Skills and experience;
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience,

• Mechanical Fitter qualification
• Pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor belts
• Previous experience in a maintenance and manufacturing environment
• Strong team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
