Employal are proud to be working with one of our key clients in the Food Manufacturing sector, to add a Mechanical Fitter to their maintenance team.This is an Afternoon Shift roster, Monday - Friday, Weekends only on occasion, during shutdowns or peak times.
You will be required to manage day to day performance of plant machinery and schedule preventative maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities ;
Daily duties and responsibilities can include but are not limited,
- Perform all maintenance tasks, including breakdowns, repairs and schedule preventative maintenance
- Maintain safety protocols and policies
- Reporting of maintenance through daily logs and working closely with the maintenance manager to communicate requirements
- Supporting team with any daily on the job technical support
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience,
- Mechanical Fitter qualification
- Welding experience, Stainless Steel, TIG & MIG
- Pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor belts
- Previous experience in a maintenance and manufacturing environment
- Strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
