Our client, a bold and contemporary streetwear brand, known for its unisex designs, statement graphics, and urban aesthetics is seeking an experienced Apparel Graphic Designer to join their design team.
This role will play a pivotal role in shaping seasonal collections, inspired by global street culture, music, and art, it merges comfort with cutting-edge style, offering graphic tees, oversized hoodies, and elevated essentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to execute the brand’s creative vision from concept to production.
- Conduct in-depth research on global trends, WGSN insights, and catwalk analysis to influence graphic and apparel design.
- Develop colour palettes, mood boards, and print concepts that align with seasonal themes.
- Conceptualise and design graphics, logos, artworks, and prints for apparel and accessories.
- Create detailed tech packs, including placement guides, colour references, and specifications for suppliers.
- Maintain strong supplier communication, overseeing fabric, trim, and hardware selection.
- Build and manage a digital asset library for prints, trims, and artwork developments.
- Ensure all key deadlines are met, aligning with the critical path and design calendar.
- Maintain a commercial approach to design, ensuring product quality and profitability targets are met.
- Demonstrated apparel graphic design experience within a leading fashion brand.
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A deep understanding of fabrications, trims, and print production.
- A keen eye for detail, colour, and typography, with the ability to translate trends into sellable designs.
- Experience working closely with suppliers and manufacturers.
