Are you a creative, detail-driven designer with a passion for denim? We're seeking a Women's Denim Designer to bring fresh ideas and innovation to our client's collections. If you thrive on trend research, experimenting with washes and finishes, and crafting high-quality, fashion-forward denim, we’d love to hear from you!In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing and developing denim collections that align with the brand’s aesthetic. Collaborating closely with the Product Development and Production teams, you’ll oversee the entire design process—from initial concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research global trends, washes, and finishes to create trend-driven denim collections.
- Design and develop denim products, ensuring alignment with seasonal direction and brand identity.
- Work closely with fabric suppliers, wash houses, and production teams to achieve the perfect fit, finish, and quality.
- Create detailed technical packs, including sketches, construction details, and specifications.
- Oversee fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure the best fit and silhouette.
- Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure commercial viability.
- Manage sample development, approvals, and quality control.
- Attend fabric and trim sourcing meetings, ensuring innovative materials are incorporated into the range.
- Stay updated with sustainability practices and incorporate them into denim development where possible.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Denim Designer or a strong background in women's fashion design with a focus on denim.
- Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, and construction techniques.
- Ability to create detailed tech packs using Adobe Illustrator and other design software.
- Strong understanding of garment fitting and pattern construction.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for trends and innovation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
