Your Opportunity:

The role of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Senior Health Worker Co-ordinator role contributes to the development of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Workforce and informs the cultural competency of the mental health workers within the CHQ CYMHS. The emphasis is on supporting HWF (Trainees, Health Workers and Advanced Health Workers), their Team Leaders/Program Managers, Supervisors and clinicians in their roles. Leadership in clinical practice workforce program provides culturally responsive and equitable care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers and families. Supporting the development of continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and compliance with national and local standards and regulations and improve social and emotional wellbeing.
