Job Description
The roles of the Assistant Accountant/ Financial Accountant include:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statementsSupport the team in month-end and year-end closingPrepare and lodge Business Activity StatementsMaintain and update accounting recordsProvide support in budgeting and forecastingEnsure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirementsParticipate in financial auditsCollaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Assistant Accountant / Financial Accountant Should Have
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of accounting regulations and standardsInterest or experience in agriculture
