This represents a rare and unique opportunity with an outstanding civil construction company based in regional QLD. This company is highly regarded in the industry and have an excellent reputation.
POSITION
Due to internal restructuring, the position of Management Accountant has been created.
Due to the company's location, they are looking to hire a 100% remote management accountant based in South East QLD. The successful candidate will be required to visit the office on a ad hoc basis.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will involve (and not limited to):
- Preparation of month end reports for multiple entities
- P&L reporting
- BAS, FBT, forecasting and budgeting
- Implement new systems and processes
- Manage a team of assistant accountants
- Fixed asset, hire purchase and lease registers
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- CA/CPA
- 4+ years experience within a similar role
- Experience in the civil construction industry is highly desirable
- Based in SE QLD (non negotiable)
- Ability to work remotely and unsupervised
- Proficiency with Xero and Excel
- Stable employment history
- Exceptional communication and presentation (non negotiable)
