The successful candidate is a former Financial Planner and will have excellent communication and people skills, combined with solid financial knowledge, experience and background. The right person for this role has a positive disposition, an ownership mindset, displays initiative, can work autonomously and is eager to learn the job responsibilities in order to help our team support clients on their journey towards financial independence. Training will be provided.
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting one to one financial education sessions by phone or video meeting. Sessions include but are not limited to providing educational and factual information around helping clients to establish a budget, set goals, educate and empower clients with knowledge around superannuation, investment strategies, debt management, protecting wealth and assets, etc.
This is not a financial planning role and there is no requirement to be on the Financial Adviser Register.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide one to one financial education sessions to assess client’s needs and provide help the client resolve past and present financial concerns
- Create personalised action plans that support clients’ financial goals and provide encouragement to accomplish their plans
- Collect required data using our client management database
- Have the necessary skill set to empathise with clients about their financial situations, while also providing motivation and moving client toward a positive action
Required experience/knowledge:
- Experience in financial planning (ie former financial planner)
- Interest/experience in personal coaching processes
- Ability to use our client management database
Ideal Qualifications
- Diploma of Financial Planning/Advice (or higher) or
- Other suitable/acceptable financial qualification/s
This position would suit a person looking for flexible work arrangements and would be ideal for a retired/re-tiring financial professional - who is happy to work from home under their own ABN.
All appointments are conducted with clients via phone and some video meetings.
Initially you can expect to work 15 – 30 hours per week.
