The RoleThe SEO Manager will lead a small team focused on driving search visibility and content strategy across key digital channels, as well as managing content across all owned and earned channels. This role will shape the business’s approach to search performance, leveraging AI to enhance rankings, traffic, and engagement.As part of a large digital marketing team, you’ll collaborate with specialists across content, design, development, and analytics to execute impactful initiatives. You’ll also manage external partners to support broader digital growth objectives. You will have three SEO analysts who are your direct reports.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement an SEO strategy to enhance visibility, drive organic traffic, and improve conversion rates.Oversee digital content initiatives, working closely with Marketing, PR, and cross-functional teams to create and distribute engaging material.Manage end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring projects stay on track with timelines, budgets, and performance goals.Partner with the digital analytics team to measure search performance and content effectiveness, translating insights into actionable improvements.Leverage AI-driven insights and tools to enhance search optimisation and content performance.Ensure all digital initiatives align with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.Maintain a structured content plan, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and reach.Build and manage relationships with internal and external partners and leaders to support content distribution and strategic growth.Contribute to innovation by leveraging internal insights to develop fresh ideas and opportunities for search and content improvement.
What You’ll Bring7+ years in digital marketing, with demonstrated leadership experience.Deep expertise in search strategy, including the use of AI.Strong background in content strategy, audience engagement, and digital growth initiatives.Proficiency in SEO and analytics toolsExperience leading teams and working cross-functionally within large organisations.Familiarity with website structures, user experience principles, and content management systems.Excellent project management, organisational, and analytical skills.Ability to balance innovation with compliance in regulated environments.
