ITI Australia is expanding, and we are looking for a hands-on Branch Manager to lead our new Tasmania site. This is a rare opportunity to establish and grow the branch while being backed by ITI’s national network across NSW, QLD, WA, SA, VIC, and NZ.

Through innovation and significant growth, ITI has become Australia’s largest independent distributor of timber products to the building and construction industry. We supply high-quality timber and building materials to builders and landscapers across Australia and beyond.
The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Make sales calls and customer visits to grow the business and expand market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Manage stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and liaise with suppliers for timely order fulfillment.
- Work closely with Head Office, which will handle debtor accounts, while ensuring profitability at the branch level.
- Manage and support the Forklift Operator, with the opportunity to expand the team as the branch grows.
To Be Successful
Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
The ideal candidate must also:
- Have timber industry experience (essential).
- Be a strong sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business.
- Have experience in branch operations or a leadership role within a similar industry.
- Be highly motivated, independent, and able to take ownership of branch success.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be hands-on and adaptable, thriving in a start-up branch environment.
