In this national role, your senior HR/ER expertise will be critical in developing and delivering effective people-focused solutions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Reporting to the Group People Manager, you’ll support multiple locations across the country, providing strategic HR and ER advice, improving people leadership capabilities, and implementing people improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage employee and industrial relations (ER/IR) issues, such as misconduct, performance, and conflict resolution, ensuring fairness across the company. You will provide practical, commercial solutions to complex cases while collaborating with leaders to offer strategic HR / ER advice that supports operational goals and fosters a positive workplace culture. You will lead organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will support employee development programs, address skills gaps, and guide interstate teams on region-specific matters. By proactively identifying emerging ER / IR issues, you will help maintain a compliant and productive work environment, while working closely with the broader People / Recruitment team to ensure integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership. You excel in fast-paced environments, are solutions-focused, and have a proven ability to manage complex HR / ER matters while fostering positive workplace culture and driving business outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Proven background in the blue-collar withing an industrialised environment;
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities;
- Strong understanding of the impact of HR decisions on business operations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail;
- Initiative-driven with strong problem-solving abilities;
- Sound knowledge of Australian Industrial Legislation and the ability to interpret Awards and EAs; and
- Tertiary qualifications in Business / HR or similar (desirable).
