Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Finance this role offers a candidate an excellent opportunity to gain rounded experience in a transactional finance role within a friendly and supportive team with the potential for future opportunities for career growth. The purpose of the role is to provide accounting support around the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions as well as being involved in query management and Financial related projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain exposure in a service-led business and work within a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process both Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage queries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.
- Being an integral point of contact on financial and accounting matters for the business.
- Supporting other members of the finance team by sharing tasks and taking on duties when there is a higher than usual workload
Candidate Profile
The client is looking for someone to take their next step in their Accounting career with some experience desired around transactional accounting (AP and AR), however more emphasis is placed on someone having a progressive attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. They also value a strong, service-oriented outlook from people.
This role serves as a great opportunity for a candidate to pick up a variety of accounting responsibilities in a supportive environment. Prior use of an Accounting Software will be beneficial as well as exposure to MS Excel.
Please note, as this is a permanent role, candidates will require full Australian working rights with no sponsorship being offered with this position.
Hybrid working option of 4 days in the office and 1 days from home is available after successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.
