About the Role:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial and business alignment. Your responsibilities will span across month-end processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects. You will have direct involvement in analysing business performance and supporting global growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Month End & Reporting:
- Support the month-end close process in collaboration with the finance team
- Assist in labour reallocation based on timesheets from the business
- Prepare and provide monthly financial reports to key stakeholders
- Lead board financial reporting and presentations
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Enhance data integrity to drive better cost analysis and financial insights
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Projects & Business Growth Support:
- Provide financial analysis and support for commercial deals and tender opportunities
- Collaborate with the business on strategic growth initiatives
- Assist the CFO with ad hoc financial projects as required
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified accountant with up to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong audit background with a deep understanding of accounting principles
- Highly motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical and critical thinker with problem-solving expertise
- A proactive and enthusiastic team player
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong systems knowledge, particularly with NetSuite and NSPB
- Full working rights for Australia
